Even without someone to tip the scales, the village is in chaos. I suppose we are outside His influence...

Oh, errr, it's recording already. I don't think I'll ever get used to this. Anyway, miss Estelle, I wanted to ask you how that book club is coming along.

If I may have your attention, please? My name is Aziraphale. I'd like to announce that as of today, I've finished cataloguing all books that were present in the library. Everything's been ordered by category and a list of the titles is available for anyone to view. To ensure that no books are misplaced or forgotten after leaving the library, I'll be using a simple system to keep track of them. All I ask is that you give me your name and the title of the book(s) you're borrowing. I'd also prefer it if you report back to the library once every two weeks to confirm you're still in possession of the book, if you intend to keep it longer. All standard procedure, of course. I do hope all residents will come pay a visit, when they have the time.

Also, unless I'm very much mistaken, only four days are left until Saint Valentine's Day. I'm a bit uncertain how many of you celebrate this holiday, or even know about it. Regardless, it's a wonderful opportunity to follow the more common traditions of Valentine's Day and spread some good intentions around the village. If there's a certain special someone you'd like to get to know better, confess your feelings to them. Alternatively, if you already have a partner, the custom would be to pamper them even further.

Lastly, a message for miss Svala. I've found a few scrolls that may interest you. Will you be dropping by to pick them up?

-Been here for less than a week and already I've caught a common cold. If that serpent were here, he'd never let me hear the end of it.

Oh. It's recording already? Er, I hope this isn't a troublesome time to ask, considering we're in the middle of one of those experiments I've been hearing so much about, but... Uhm. While exploring the local library, I couldn't help but notice it's been turned into somewhat of a living quarters. Is anyone actually inhabiting it? A caretaker, perhaps?

Please don't feel a need to respond to this question if you're too busy. I'd hate to be a bother. Now, how do you turn this thing off...? Ah, here we g-

Well, this is all rather strange, isn’t it? I don’t remember leaving the store. Was I summoned? Surely, I’d be given a sign before being transported anywhere.

[rustling of leaves]

What is... Oh dear. That is just disgusting. Cotton? By all accounts, that isn't suitable for this kind of weather. I'm freezing. ... Errr.

[a reasonably long silence.]

There must be some mistake. Uhm... Yes, I’ll wait for someone to come sort this mess out then, shall I? ... Right.
